GP-ENGINE

Regional GPU infrastructure expanding advanced computing access across the Great Plains.

GP-ENGINE — the Great Plains Extended Network of GPUs for Interactive Experimenters — expands advanced computing adoption across the region through coordinated GPU-enabled research infrastructure.

The project widens researcher and student access to local and national GPU resources while strengthening the campus research computing capacity that makes those resources usable.

My work is the engineering and operations side: the container and Kubernetes patterns that let a campus contribute GPU capacity to a shared pool, and take part in it, without standing up a national-scale operations team of its own.

I am a Co-PI on GP-ENGINE.
